Poker is one of the most popular card games worldwide. It is not just a game of luck; it takes a fair bit of skill and intellect. Another variant of the game is known as community card poker. These types of poker games are similar to the more popular draw poker, except that the dealer shuffles the community cards. They are then dealt to each player. To keep things interesting, each of the players has the option of discarding a card or two, thus making his or her hand better.

Finally, there is the infamous ante, or forced bet. This is also referred to as the blind. When a player makes this bet, the other players must match their bet or fold. Depending on the particular game, a forced bet is sometimes a blind, or a no-limit bet. Most modern poker games incorporate the ante.

The best poker games have a minimum ante, which is usually based on the amount that can be wagered for the game. Generally, the ante is a low-stakes game and is used only when a player wishes to bluff the other players.
